Dataset of Investment attractiveness evaluation in uncertainty times
收藏资源简介:
In a dynamic environment, there are fundamental changes in the determinants of investment attractiveness and in the established patterns of investor behaviour. Ernst & Young's European Attractiveness Study (Ernst & Young, 2023) identifies modern investment as the beginning of a new generation of investment, as each economic and geopolitical shock increases uncertainties, rendering countries' or companies' development strategies, which have been successful in the past, ineffective. Researchers note that focusing solely on traditional factors that determine investment attractiveness is no longer sufficient, as investors are beginning to place significant importance on other, non-standard factors—or those less commonly described in classical economic literature— such as companies’ integration into value chains, networking, intellectual property, demographic and social trends, and others. The dataset combines traditional and alternative indicators for assessing Lithuania’s investment attractiveness under conditions of uncertainty. The panel dataset consists of 22 time series, 20 periods, and a total of 439 observations.
