Projectiles from a newly purchased air pistol with 0.177 calibre pellets (unjacketed) were fired a series of pellets and were examined using an optical microscope.
This dataset includes firing pin markings of 6 different pistol models with 3 different calibers obtained through reflective microscopy imaging. Dataset is also publicly available by NIST.
