Hourly rainfall data collected by a Texas Electronics (2013/03/03 - current) tipping bucket gauge installed at 1.2m above ground at 1214 masl in the Jonkershoek valley in the Western Cape of South Africa. Data recorded by CR1000 logger (Campbell Scientific, Utah, U.S.A). Tipping bucket calibrated to a 0.254 mm per tip event. (Collection continuing, contact SAEON for updated datasets)
