This folder contains the raw data and code used to generate the plots for the paper "Majorana parity qubit in coupled minimal Kitaev chains". This repository contains the datasets and code supporting the article "Majorana parity qubit in coupled minimal Kitaev chains". It includes raw measurement data, theory simulations, and the Python code used to generate the figures in the manuscript. Information about data collection, datasets organization, and how to run the notebooks is available in the README.txt file. A minimal dataset (datasets_figures.zip) is provided to reproduce all plots without downloading the full raw data. Analysis and plotting was performed using Jupyter notebooks. A minimal conda environment is provided in env.yml. To run the Jupyter notebooks, install Anaconda and execute: conda env create -f env.yml followed by: conda activate qubitpmm and finally: jupyter lab to launch the notebook. The plots in the manuscript can be generated running figures.ipynb. To run the notebook, make sure that you download datasets_figures.zip , analysis_pmmqubit.py, xarray_processing.py, and xarray_labels.yml in the same directory. The zip file should also be unzipped in the same directory. Installing the environment and running figures.ipynb typically takes a few minutes. Raw data are stored as SQLite3 databases (.db) using the data acquisition framework QCoDeS. Individual measurements are extracted from those databases, converted to xarray Datasets with QCoDeS, and finally exported to netCDF files using the xarray built-in function.
