Differential gene expression in male and female gametophytes of Pellia endiviifolia

Pellia endiviifolia is a simple thalloid liverwort, a representative of plants that together with hornworts and mosses are the oldest living land plants. In this study RNA-seq was used to profile the differences in gene expression between P. endiviifolia male and female gametophytes with distinction between vegetative and reproductive phase of growth.
