Natural Soil Fertility (WMS Service)

Natural soil fertility forms the basis for the agricultural and forestry use of our soils as well as for the establishment of site-adapted vegetation. The soil assessment instrument Saxony serves as a methodological basis for the present assessment on the basis of the official soil map (BK 50) and the urban soil concept map (SBK). The main input parameter is the amount of water available to plants, with additional consideration of soil type, use, slope slope and groundwater influences.
