Bulk RNA-sequencing of CD7+ and CD7- CD8 T cells from chronic LCMV infection

The goal of this study is to determine transcriptional differences between PD-1+ CD7 hi and PD-1+ CD7 low CD8 T cells during chronic viral infection. Overall design: C57BL/6J mice were infected with 2e6 LCMV clone 13, delivered intravenously, after transient depletion of CD4 T cells with GK1.5 antibody. >45 days after infection, the indicated T cell populations were sorted from the spleens and livers of infected mice. Separately, naive CD8 T cells (CD44-CD62L+) were sorted from spleens of 3 uninfected mice. mRNA-sequencing libraries were made with the Takara SMART-seq mRNA kit.
