Material supporting the study "Projected AMOC weakening controls future diatom decline in the subpolar North Atlantic Ocean". This repository contains the following information : compute_Brewin2017.py : python code used to compute phytoplankton NPP from remote sensing observations following the method developed by Brewin et al. (2017) microphytoplankton_Brewin2017_2003-2023.nc : reconstructed microphytoplankton NPP computed with the compute_Brewin2017.py code no3_surface_Zhong2024_2003-2023.nc : reconstructed surface NO3 concentration following the method developed by Zhong et al. (2024). The method was implemented using the LinearRegression python fonction from the sklearn.linear_model package data_figX.npy : python dictionary containing the data used to make figures 1 to 6 of the paper. To load the data, use the following pythoon command : np.load('data_figX.npy',allow_pickle='TRUE').item() All the data used in this study are freely available online. References: Brewin, R. J.
