Open data for evaluating the 2023 Wiley-CRKN read and publish agreement

This dataset includes bibliometric and article processing charge data for Wiley-published articles and reviews from 2019 through 2023. The dataset was created by merging OpenAlex data (filtered by institution) with an open APC dataset from Butler et al. (2024). It was developed as a means of evaluating the value of the 2023 Wiley-CRKN read and publish agreement at an institutional level and can support decision making related to collections development and scholarly communications in this area.
