An Integrated Portable Platform for Effective Drug Delivery to the Respiratory System: Controlling Aerosol Size, Uniformity and Throughput On-demand

There is an unmet need for nebuliser devices in medical settings which can provide efficient, targeted delivery of aerosols in easy-to-use devices. This thesis improves on ultrasonic nebuliser design through investigation of the mechanism for aerosol generation and novel device integrations.
