In this study, leaves from both cold-tolerant and -sensitive K. obovata groups were selected for transcriptome sequencing. Then the key differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, and the metabolic pathways and transcription factor (TF) families they regulate were explored to uncover potential genetic differences. The findings provide a scientific basis for the introduction of K. obovata to northern Zhejiang and the cultivation of cold-tolerant varieties.
