β-VAE classification accuracy results for different values of the hyperparameters β, latent dimension (ld), and learning rate (lr). Note that these results are substantially lower than those reported in Table 1, as the models were trained on only 5% of the data to reduce training time. The optimal parameters were found to be β=0.01, ld=256, and lr=1e-4.
