Structure of engineered encapsulin P3P4

Encapsulins are protein nanocages with icosahedral symmetry. We present a cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM) dataset comprising 50 motion-corrected micrographs (and 3082 particles) of the engineered encapsulin P3P4 from Quasibacillus thermotolerans. This dataset allows for the reconstruction of cryoEM density at a resolution of 3.1 Å. Given the limited number of micrographs, the dataset is well-suited for benchmarking of various cryoEM tools.
