This dataset contains experimental data supporting the study of "Phosphorylation of a DUF1831 protein by STK links SUF Fe-S cluster biogenesis to oxidative stress resistance and virulence in Streptococcus suis". The data include: 1) Comparative phosphoproteomic data of wild-type (WT) Streptococcus suis SC19 and stk deletion mutant (Δstk); 2) In vitro/in vivo phosphorylation assay data of SstP1 (DUF1831 protein) at Thr35 residue; 3) Enzymatic activity data (aconitase) of SUF Fe-S cluster biosynthesis-related strains; 4) Growth curve, stress survival, and phagocytosis assay data of WT, ΔsstP1, SstP1-T35A, and SstP1-T35E strains; 5) Bacterial burden and histopathological data from a mouse infection model. All data were generated from biological triplicates and analyzed using GraphPad Prism 9.0, providing foundational evidence for the regulatory mechanism between STK signaling and SUF-dependent Fe-S cluster biogenesis in S. suis virulence.
