This metadata set describes “EnvironmentalMonitoringFacility” as the object type of the INSPIRE Annex theme III “Environmental Monitoring”. The metadata set acts as the overarching dataset for the four other INSPIRE datasets of this object typeim on the subject of “environmental monitoring”. This organisation is necessary to ensure data-service coupling to the linked INSPIRE WFS Download Service. There, it is possible to specify only one dataset. For customer-friendliness, however, the different measurement point types are described with several metadata sets.
