This dataset has several files linked to the manuscript "High protein diets improve the growth of juvenile barramundi Lates calcarifer at elevated temperatures." Elevated water temperatures and low aquatic oxygen levels often impact farmed fish production. We investigated the effects on growth, feeding, blood parameters, and metabolism (routine, maximum and postprandial peak metabolic rate) of a high protein versus high lipid diet on juvenile barramundi (Lates calcarifer) at elevated temperatures and the effects of acute hypoxia on feed intake and maximum metabolic rate.
