Topics: job satisfaction; judgement on personal economic situation;
duration and reasons for personal unemployment; duration of company
employment; absence from home due to occupation; distance to job;
attitude to the union and to its wage demands; attitude to the
influence of unions in wage negotiations; assumed attitude of company
management and social environment to trade unions; membership in the
works council and in the union; reasons for the decision to join the
union; degree of information about the union and its successes;
utilization of union services; participation in union meetings and
union further education events; contacts with union functionaries;
evaluation of the amount of membership fee; change of job; overtime;
membership in clubs; personal party preference and that of father;
father´s party membership; religiousness.

The following questions were also posed to non-members: interest in
joining and knowledge of amount of membership fee.

With former members: reasons for leaving.

Demography: age; number of children; religious denomination; school education; vocational training; occupation; income; household income; size of household; composition of household; state.
