VPRS 18011 Employment Program: Subject and Trainee Files

This series consists of Winlaton Youth Training Centre's (VA 5093) Employment Program subject files and the individual trainee files. The subject files detail examples of arrangements with employers and the promotion of the program to potential employers. The trainee files document the work experience developed for each Winlaton resident, their placement logistics and the progress reports by each employer.The Employment Officer was responsible for running the Winlaton Employment Program, which was funded by the Children in Residential Care Grants from the Education Department. The aim of this program was to secure work experience placements and paid employment for trainees, prior to their release.
