Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized systems-based analysis of cellular pathways. The goals of this study are to compare NGS-derived OsUBC12 homozygous knockout rice mutants Transcriptomes profiling (RNA-seq) to microarray methods and to evaluate protocols for optimal high-throughput data analysis. Our study provides evidence that OsUBC12 likely plays a role in regulating ABA-related genes.
