Isolated hepatocytes were incubated for 5 min in the absence or the presence of 10 mM glucose or 10 mM fructose, as described in the Material and Methods. The table shows glucose 6-phosphate and ATP intracellular levels, as well as the relative degree of serine phosphorylation of proteins in which differences above 25% were obtained.
