Potential of bambara groundnut as a Commercial Crop

Suitability maps for bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea L. Verdc)  estimating the seasonal adaptability of this crop against its climate and soil requirements. The suitability maps were produced by estimating the suitability of 12 possible calendar-year seasons against climate (temperature) and soil (pH, depth, and texture) requirements of bambara groundnut using spatially explicit data of 1 km resolution (Jahanshiri et al., 2020; Suhairi et al., 2018). The maps are in GeoTIFF form and are ready for any analysis using GIS software. 

The dataset was developed with the help of a grant from the European Union H2020 LandSupport project.
