ClonedPerson is a large-scale synthetic dataset for generalized person re-identification (GPReID), developed by Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. It contains 5,621 identities and 887,766 images, which are generated by cloning clothing from real-world person images onto virtual 3D characters, producing images with clear clothing textures. The dataset's development adopts systematic clothing cloning techniques, aiming to enhance the generalization capability of person re-identification algorithms.
