Sequence analysis of RNA fragments generated by RNase digestion of cellular total RNA

This study focuses on the analysis of RNA fragments from human total RNA that are generated by RNase digestion. These fragments are immunostimulatory via the nucleic acid sensor retinoic acid inducible gene I (RIG-I) and therefore activate immune cells. The nature and sequence of the immunostimulatory fragment is unknown and shall be identified by this study.
