Transcriptome analysis of Aoswi6 in nematode-trapping fungus Arthrobotrys oligospora

Transcriptomic analysis revealed that differentially expressed genes in the absence of Aoswi6 were involved in DNA replication, repair, and recombination during trap formation. The WT and ΔAoswi6 mutant strains were cultured in PD shaking at 28 °C, 180 rpm for 5 days. Mycelium was collected and washed three times with 0.1 Mphosphate buffer saline (PBS) (pH 6.8-7.2). The mycelium was divided and induced with about 600 nematodes for 0, 12, 24, and 36 h, respectively. Three replicates were performed for each sample.
