资源简介:
This sequencing project was intended to quantify changes in allele frequencies during adaptation to high temperature environments in the copepods Tigriopus californicus. Hybrids between a heat-tolerant population (SD: San Diego, California) and a heat-sensitive population (SH: Strawberry Hill Oregon) were subjected to either a high temperature selective regime or a control regime (no heat stress) one a generation for 12 generations. For each treatment, 4-6 independent replicate populations were maintained in parallele. Also, the experiment was conducted for each reciprocal cross (SDfxSDm and SHfxSDm) After reaching the 12th generation, life-history and metabolic phenotypes were quantified, and whole-genome sequencing performed on pools of ~100 individuals per replicate population.
