Vaginal microbiota of women with vs. without inflammatory bowel disease. human vaginal metagenome

This study included pre- and post-menopausal women with vs. without inflammatory bowel disease (IBD: Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Indeterminate Colitis). Participants in this study provided between 1-3 vaginal swabs. The goal of the project was to compare the vaginal microbial community composition between women with vs. without IBD, and across IBD disease severity.
