Gonad development from stage II to Ⅲ is difficult for female Chinese sturgeon in controlled breeding. Previous studies showed that dietary lipid level influenced fish gonad development. The objective of this study was to further understand the mechanism regarding dietary lipid level affecting gonadal development of female Chinese sturgeon using gonad tissues sequencing.
