Comparative data from SEM measurements [1,22] and pressure drop via the Ergun equation [3]. Linear fit for Friedrich’s A_e SEM data: y = 0.66x – 0.53 (R2 = 0.99). Linear fit for (underestimated) A_e by μCT at low resolution: y = 0.11x + 5.44 (R2 = 0.78).Data for Figure 10: Distribution of the open-foam cell properties in 100 ppi RVC at a resampled resolution of 6 μm per voxel from a μ-CT scan: a) cell volume b) cell surface area.
