Data release for article: "The spectrum of open confining strings in the large-$N_c$ limit"

This dataset accompanies the study "The spectrum of open confining strings in the large-$N_c$ limit" (arXiv:2506.16342). It contains static quark–antiquark potential data computed from lattice QCD simulations using $SU(N_c)$ gauge groups with $N_c$ = 3 to 6, on anisotropic lattices with varying parameters (gauge coupling $\beta$, anisotropy factor $\xi$, spatial/temporal lattice lengths, etc.). The data are organised in a single JSON file, with each ensemble stored as a separate entry and accompanied by a Python script to read and analyse the data. Each ensemble includes: Metadata: Describing the properties of each simulation. Potential data: Extracted from spatial Wilson loops, categorised by symmetry channels. All results are provided in both lattice spacing units and string tension units, enabling direct comparison across different ensembles. This dataset supports the reproduction of the figures and tables in the referenced paper and may also be used for further theoretical investigations of confinement and string dynamics in the large-$N_c$ regime.
