A valuable technique for humeral head height and retroversion in hemiarthroplasty: Technical note and outcome

1. This paper presents a novel method to determine the humeral head height and retroversion. 2. It's a way to deal with trauma basing on the concept of trauma. The free humeral head is placed at the distal end of the fracture. A hole is drilled into the greater tuberosity ridge of the humerus. The distance from the key hole to the lateral edge of the humeral head joint surface is set as the distance from the key hole to the outer edge of the humeral head prosthesis, so as to determine the height of the prosthesis.3. This operation is simple and easy to be accepted by orthopedic surgeons.
