The relationships between the Big Five personality traits, self-presentation styles, and self-esteem in orchestral musicians

The raw data come from a cross-sectional online study conducted in Poland on a sample of 160 orchestra musicians (50% women), aged 19 to 58 (mean = 36.37, SD = 10.02). The following psychological questionnaires were used: (1) self-efficacy was assessed using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (SES), (2) self-promotion and self-deprecation were measured using the Self-Presentation Style Questionnaire (SSQ), and (3) the Big Five personality traits were assessed using the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI).
