2026 Korean Public Rental Housing Deposit–Rent Conversion Conditions: A Reproducible Dataset of 131 Conditions from GH, SH, and LH Recruitment Notices

Overview This dataset presents 131 listed rental deposit and monthly rent conversion conditions extracted from four public rental housing recruitment notices issued in South Korea in 2026. The dataset covers three public housing providers: Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation (GH, 59 observations), Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH, 53 observations), and Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH, 19 observations). Methods The study compares base rental deposits and monthly rents with the corresponding conditions after deposit increases or decreases. Nominal annual conversion rates were independently recalculated, and the extracted information was checked against the source recruitment notices. Validation All 131 observations underwent arithmetic validation. Additional source-text comparisons were conducted for 49 previously flagged observations. The dataset retains quality-control annotations and documents a minor discrepancy between a published conversion rate and the rate calculated from displayed rental amounts. These checks do not constitute a complete independent visual audit of every source table. Limitations The dataset is based on four recruitment notices rather than a statistically representative national sample. Differences between providers should not be interpreted as nationwide institutional performance rankings. Reuse The accompanying documentation describes variable definitions, calculation procedures, source references, validation results, and methodological limitations. The dataset is intended to support transparent and reproducible analysis of public rental housing deposit–rent conversion conditions in South Korea.
