Combining the exquisite angular resolution of Gaia openPar< 0.2 arcsecclosePar with optical light curves and WISE photometry comma the Gaia Gravitational Lenses working group openParGraLclosePar have confirmed 22 new strongly lensed quasars in the past two years comma including 9 new quadruply lensed quasars. X-ray observations of these rare systems provide a powerful tool for a range of studies comma from inferring the structure near the event horizons of supermassive black holes openParSMBHsclosePar to measuring black hole spins at cosmological distances. We propose a snapshot survey of these newly identified systems to determine which are the most X-ray bright and therefore amenable to future deeper observations and monitoring programs.
