Q-methodology - National Parks in Europe

Data set resulting from interviews using Q-methodology conducted among stakeholders national parks (NPs) located in the Carpathian region of the European Union. The aim of the research was to analyse the perception of stakeholders (NP authorities, local authorities, representatives of the tourism sector, other local residents) regarding the role of NPs in the Carpathian Mountains in local development. The study was based on 170 interviews conducted in eight NPs: Magura and Pieniny (Poland), Mala Fatra and Poloniny (Slovakia), Aggtelek and Bükk (Hungary), Retezat and Piatra Craiului (Romania)
