Soil Microbiome from the Aranjuez Experimental Station (AES)

Soil bacterial and fungal sequences from two timepoints of Aranjuez Experimental Station (AES), a global change experiment of Fernando Maestre's lab. AES has a manipulative experiment to evaluate the biological soil crust community and its main constituents' responses to an increase in air temperature and a reduction of total annual rainfall using open-top chambers and rainfall shelters with a full factorial scheme. It is located in the vicinity of Aranjuez, 55 km south of Madrid (Spain).
