PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a molding with reduced unevenness of strength. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a molding includes the steps of: preparing a slurry containing a thermosetting resin， a fiber filler， and an emulsion including a poly(meth)acrylic acid ester; obtaining a machined body including the thermosetting resin， the fiber filler and the poly(meth)acrylic acid ester by machining and dehydration of the slurry; and obtaining a molding by thermoforming the machined body， wherein the poly(meth)acrylic acid ester emulsion has a cationic degree of 0.02 meq/g or over and 0.1 meq/g or under.
