Data from: Impact of host nutritional status on infection dynamics and parasite virulence in a bird-malaria system

Repeated measurements of body mass, haematocrit and blood parasitaemia (RQ) taken over a -15/17 day-period in birds infected by Plasmodium relictum and fed with control or supplemented diets (experiment 1). Parasites originating from control/supplemented hosts were inoculated to new birds that were also fed either control or supplemented diet (experiment 2).
