Following a series of remarkable recent discoveries comma we now know that some of the most luminous members of the ULX-ray source population are actually powered by highly super-Eddington neutron stars. Five such systems are now known comma but based on the long-term variability characteristics exhibited by these sources comma we have compiled a sample of 19 additional ULX pulsar candidates from the broader ULX population. Here we propose a co-ordinated target of opportunity observation with XMM openPar100ksclosePar and NuSTAR openPar100ksclosePar of one of the most promising of these candidates comma NGC7090 ULX comma when the source is bright. Our main aims are to search for pulsations in order to test our prediction that this is another ULX pulsar comma and constrain the broadband spectrum.
