The rnhA-dnaA double mutant was evolved under laboratory conditions at 37°C in LB . Evolved populations were collected at different time points (Passage 0,4,8,12,15) and stored. Single colonies isolated from these populations were picked and genomic DNA was isolated using Sigma GenElute⢠Bacterial Genomic DNA Kit (Cat.No. NA2120)following manufacturers protocol. DNA libraries were prepared using the Illumina ® TruSeqTM DNA Sample Preparation Kit. Genomes were sequenced for 100 cycles from both end using Illumina Hiseq 2500 platform
