资源简介:
Relative growth rate and leaf damage of 11 standardised plantings of tree and/or shrub species testing species’ growth and performance. Growth metrics included total tree or shrub height (cm) and diameter at the stem base (~10 cm above the ground; cm) only for trees. Height and canopy width were measured with a measuring tape (cm), and diameter was measured with a RS PRO 150 mm digital calliper (0.01 mm). Stress was measured as percentage of leaf damage (i.e., any evidence of leaf browning/yellowing or necrosis). Leaf damage was assessed visually for each individual plant and classified in four categories ranging from low to severe damage or dead individuals following Esperon-Rodriguez et al. (2021) (Table 2). Baseline data were collected at each site one month after planting and then again at the end of the summer in March 2024 after three to six years after planting. To use this database, please cite: Rodriguez ME, Power SA, Tjoelker MG, Sharmin M, Rymer PD. 2025.
