Advanced Remote Sensing and Intelligent Monitoring for Forest Fire Prevention and Management: A State-of-the-Art Systematic Review

A systematic review of one hundred fifty peer-reviewed studies published between 2016 and 2026 is presented. Following a search compliant with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses statement, a novel and rigorous automation-assisted methodology was employed, utilizing a custom Python script to perform the data search across six databases.
