Mycobacteroides abscessus subsp. massiliense Genome sequencing and assembly

Mycobacterium abscessus complex (MABSC) comprises multidrug-resistant, opportunistic, and rapidly growing pathogens. MABSC is responsible for severe infections, and outbreaks caused by MABSC have already been reported in several countries, including Brazil, becoming common all over the world. Here, we report the genome sequencing of four Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. massiliense clinical isolates obtained from distinct sources in Brazil.
