资源简介:
Chickens are vaccinated to reduce the load of wild-type Salmonella in poultry production. In the current study, the effects of vaccine diluents (peptone and water) were assessed for better protection of broilers exposed to various inoculum doses of wild-type Salmonella Typhimurium delivered through dust, mimicking field conditions. The data obtained in this study show that the vaccine better protects broilers exposed to lower doses of wild-type Salmonella, making the gut less prone to dysbiosis caused by Salmonella infection.
