资源简介:
The aim of this project was to examine how common synaptic inputs to spinal motorneurons are modulated during functionally distinct hand tasks. Specifically, we investigated whether neural coupling between motor unit spike trains of the first dorsal interosseous (FDI) muscle differs between isolated index finger flexion and precision pinch tasks performed at low force levels. Motor units were decomposed from high-density surface electromyograms detected from the FDI muscle using this algorithm and tracked across tasks. To characterize neural coupling, we applied complementary analytical approaches of Coherence analysis and Proportion of Common Input (PCI) to quantify linear common oscillatory inputs together with Mutual information–based network analysis to capture nonlinear interactions between motor units.
