Transcriptomics helps identify molecules and key genes involved in plant color formation. Therefore, in this paper, transcriptome changes between pink and dark pink petals of tobacco are outlined to identify key genes and transcription factors that control anthocyanin composition in wild tobacco and overexpressed transgenic flowers. In this study, we carried out transcriptomic studies on Gentiana neroli transgenic tobacco with DFR1 and DFR2 genes to screen genes related to the regulation of plant color and verify the biological functions of related genes.
