PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood processing apparatus driven by steam. SOLUTION: A wood processing apparatus includes a rectangular chassis 110， and four support rods 152 which are located at four corners of an apex end face of the rectangular chassis and are centrosymmetric. A wood scrap box 109， which is positioned at a center of the support rod， is fixedly connected to the apex end face of the rectangular chassis， a rectangular block， which is positioned at the rectangular chassis， is fixedly connected to a rear end of the wood scrap box， and a wood scrap cavity 108， which opens left and right， is provided in the wood scrap box. A wood scrap inlet 112 is so provided as to penetrate an apex end face of the wood scrap cavity， and a first chute 114， which opens forward and extends left and right， is provided on a rear end inner wall of the wood scrap cavity. A rotary cavity， which opens forward， is provided in the rectangular block， and a first guide slide groove 113， which extends left and right， is so provided as to communicate between the rotary cavity and the first chute.
