Impact of fluoride varnish and oral health education on caries increment and dental plaque microbiota among children with early mixed dentition: a three-armed 24-month randomised controlled trial

To monitor the changes in the oral flora of children before and after the intervention, and to explore the caries prevention mechanism of fluoride protective varnish and oral health education.In addition, by observing the trends of cariogenic bacteria before and after the intervention, the dominant bacteria closely related to caries progression can also be analysed, providing laboratory guidance for an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms of caries prevention and control.
