This study mainly studied the toxic effect of BPS on microglia, and induced oxidative stress by activating NF-κB signaling pathway to polarize microglia towards M1, inhibit M2 polarization and promote inflammation, thus causing damage to the central nervous system; while hydroxytyrosol treatment reversed the effects of BPS, polarized microglia towards M2, inhibited inflammation. Protects the central nervous system from neuroinflammation.
