资源简介:
This dataset contains 10 daily hydrometeorological (discharge, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, maximum and minimum daily temperature, precipitation, snow-water-equivalent, vapor pressure, solar radiation, day length) and 129 static catchment attributes from 505 USGS gages across the continental United States, and seven floodplain sites located in the Lake Champlain Basin of Vermont. All meteorological data was sourced from DayMET, and all static catchment attributes were sourced from the NHD dataset.
The 505 gages are a comprehensive list of all USGS gages that have daily discharge, water temperature, and dissolved oxygen data at any time from 1980 - 2023. The hydrological and water quality variables are publicly available through the USGS.
The seven floodplain sites were monitored at the sediment-water interface for dissolved oxygen and water temperature (HOBO miniDOT) from 2019 - 2023 with varying frequency and duration. Discharge scaled by drainage area from a nearby USGS gage is used as the 'q' variable in the floodplain data files (i.e., OC1, OC2, OC3, OC4, LF1, LF2, LF3).
