Transcriptional response of rice seedlings to ABA and BL

To investigate how ABA promotes the lamina joint inclination of rice seedlings, we conducted RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) experiments 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 hours (h) after mock, ABA, or BL treatment in 12-day-old rice seedlings. Our data confirm that about 60% of low concentration ABA early response genes can be regulated by BR in the same directions and further indicate that short-term low concentration ABA effect on rice seedling is synergized, rather than antagonized, by the BR pathway.
